Surrounding the house is an acre of perennial gardens with many lilies, day lilies, irises, 10 ft tall delphiniums and a multitude of other flowers and folage. The wild birds enjoy the garden too, it is filled with humming birds, mountain blue birds, gold finch and many more. Outside the gardens are alpine meadows, in the spring and early summer they are filled with wild flowers.
